Pont Farcy is very well located a couple of
minutes drive from the A84 and less than 1 hours drive from Le Mont St
Michel, Caen, Bayeux, St Malo and the D Day Beaches.
It is also close to some of the ferry ports e.g. 1 hour to Caen (Ouistreham),
1 1/4 hours to Cherbourg or Le Havre and 3 1/2 hours to Calais. |

Although Pont Farcy is a relatively small village it
has a bakers, a restaurant, a bar, a general store at the garage, a
hairdressers and a post office. |

|
The river Vire flows through Pont Farcy and there is an
active canoeing centre nearby. On top of this are the Vire Gorges which
are well worth a look. |
